YOUR CHILDREN, OUR CHILDREN
ANAK TV is chiefly an advocacy organization that promotes television literacy and pushes the agenda for child-sensitive, family-friendly television in the Philippines.
It does so by staging forums, symposia and consultative meetings in schools,
parishes, government centers and churches. The main targets are parents who grew up with meager media education and who suddenly found themselves
unprepared and confronted with a lot of communication technology and beguiled by massive doses of entertainment television.
It initiated the Anak TV Seal Awards to recognize outstanding television programs that are deserving to sport the Anak TV seal during their airing. The seal ensures the parents that the program being aired is suitable for children.
In 2023, recognizing the evolving landscape of media consumption, the Anak TV introduced the Online Category in the Anak TV Seal Awards to acknowledge and honor digital content produced by the TV networks.
