ANAK TV HONORS PROGRAMS AND STARS AT THE 2023 ANAK TV AWARDS

Television and online Producers, performers, government leaders, and child-focused organizations gathered at the INC Museum in Quezon City to celebrate achievements in children’s programs at the 2023 Anak TV Awards.

The much-coveted Anak TV seals were awarded to 129 TV programs and 12 online shows, making them deserving to sport the seal on their programs while they are being aired. These programs have been voted by thousands of parents, and professionals in various disciples during the two levels of voting for the child-friendly and child-sensitive programs for children and their families.

Recognized as well at the Anak TV Awards were TV and online personalities voted by people as Makabata stars and role models for children

TV news personality Atom Araullo and actress Kathryn Bernardo were elevated to the AnakTV Hall of Fame after they were voted for seven years as Makabata Stars in the television category.

The awardees for television, were voted during the various symposia on Media Literary, and program screenings conducted by Anak TV in major schools and universities in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao

A highlight of the awarding rites was the presentation of a Memorial Recognition to the late news anchor Mike Enriquez of GMA who consistently supported the media literacy program of Anak TV. He had been enshrined at the Makabata star Hall of Fame many years ago, but Anak TV President Ms Elvira Go said that during polls conducted by Anak TV in recent years, the name of Mr Mike Enriquez continued to be written on the ballots of parents, who endlessly consider him as their children’s role model.

Secretary Atty. Cheloy Garafilof the Presidential Communications Office represented Pres. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. during the event, and read his inspiring message. that was well received by an audience that was composed of people who are committed to children’s wholesome infotainment on television and value-laden digital content for their online programs. The President urged everyone to continue their work for the country’s children who will be the future leaders of the land.
