The Seals awardees were recognized during awe-inspiring ceremonies at the Manila Peninsula Hotel, attended by TV executives, Television producers, Makabata Stars and creators of programs for kids.

Anak TV Symposium Successfully Starts Its First Leg in Luzon

MANGYAN KIDS WIN AWARDS AND FRIENDS AT THE ANAK TV VIDEO WORKSHOP

Ten indigenous children from the uplands of Oriental Mindoro joined the last batch of participants in the workshop on April 19-21, 2024 at the Arzobispado in Intramuros, Manila.

ANAK TV CONCLUDES WORKSHOPS FOR THE PHILIPPINES’ YOUNG VIDEO MAKERS

Anak TV successfully conducted a series of video workshops for children aimed at empowering them to express themselves creatively through video making. The workshops on visual storytelling ran for four weekends at the Arzobispado de Manila in Intramuros.

The much-coveted Anak TV seals were awarded to 129 TV programs and 12 online shows. These programs have been voted by thousands of parents, and professionals in various disciplines during the two levels of voting for the child-friendly and child-sensitive programs for children and their families.

A MEMORIAL RECOGNITION FOR MIKE ENRIQUEZ

Anak TV recognizes the valuable role of veteran broadcaster Mike Enriquez in making Anak TV fulfill its mission for children. Anak TV expressed its gratitude to Mr. Enriquez, who embraced the cause of Anak TV with dedication, dignity and commitment.

MALAYSIA TO HOST THE 2024 SEAVFC

Malaysia is ready to roll out the red carpet for the participants of the 2024 Southeast Asia Video Festival for Children (SEAVFC) in Kuala Lumpur. This festival provides a platform for children to showcase their skills in creating content, sharing their unique perspectives and engaging in cultural exchange.

In a meaningful ceremony, the Anak TV Board of Directors took turns in giving Awards to its Partner Schools. They recognized the remarkable contributions of these schools in the successful conduct of Anak TV Symposia on media literacy, Program Screenings and Larolympics in 2023.

Anak TV Ambassadors from member-networks were assigned to become the strong mouthpiece for Anak TV during symposiums and seminars, requiring them to speak before a large number of parents, teachers and students.
