Anak TV salutes its partner schools

A thankful Anak TV Board and its Secretariat gathered a select group of loyal friends and network executives at the Manila Peninsula in November for the First Anak TV Awards for Partner Schools.

The occasion celebrated the productive partnership of Anak TV with various schools and universities in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

The Anak TV board directors took turns in giving awards to its partner schools. They acknowledged their remarkable contributions in the successful conduct of the Anak TV Symposia on Media Literacy, Program Screenings and Larolympics in 2023.

The awardees were grateful for the good things that came out of the partnership. They thanked Anak TV for bringing its symposia on media literacy to their schools and recalled the sessions with the Anak TV speakers where the participants learned to understand the rapidly evolving media landscape. They were eager to have launched with Anak TV the exciting Larolympics. They thanked Anak TV for rekindling the children’s interest in the traditional Filipino outdoor games of patintero, piko, and tumbang preso. They were likewise grateful for taking part in the screening of programs and voting for the child-friendly and child-sensitive shows on television.

An exuberant Fr. Aloysius Maranan of San Beda University and Alpha Java, principal of the Iloilo City National High School, received the most number of trophies on behalf of their schools.
